Dr. Levi Breuer

Dr. Levi Y. Breuer is a licensed psychologist in Maryland. He provides psychotherapy to individuals and couples and conducts clinical and forensic psychological evaluations. Dr. Breuer earned his Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in clinical psychology from George Washington University in Washington D.C. He completed his internship at McGill University, in Montreal, Canada. He earned his Masters degree in Clinical Community Counseling from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Prior to being in private practice, Dr. Breuer worked as a forensic psychologist in Maryland at a maximum security forensic hospital – Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center. In addition, he has also worked in a variety of other settings, including, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient mental health centers, and college counseling centers. Dr. Breuer pursued post-doctoral training in couples therapy and is a certified emotionally-focused couples therapist.

Dr. Marjorie Okum is a licensed psychologist in Maryland.  Dr. Okum earned her doctorate in psychology (PhD) from Catholic University of America in Washington DC. Dr. Okum spent many years as the chief of psychology of a state forensic hospital.  She specializes in providing psychological assessment for children and adults. She has experience working with children and adults with ADHD and learning disabilities. As part of the evaluation, she assesses the client’s strengths, weaknesses, and needs and then advocates for appropriate accommodations. Dr. Okum also has experience and training in conducting forensic evaluations to provide input on custody matters as well as criminal competency and responsibility.

Dr Mays

Dr. Sally Mays is a licensed psychologist in the state of Maryland. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. She completed her post-doctoral training at the counseling center at Loyola University Maryland. She sees individuals (adolescents, emerging adults, and adults) and families for therapy and has expertise in treating anxiety, depression, and relationship concerns as well as many other mental health issues. Dr. Mays also conducts comprehensive psychoeducational and emotional assessments. She employs a therapeutic approach that is tailored to the presenting concern, goals, and personality of each individual client, but often employs a cognitive-behavioral approach that also takes into account the importance of interpersonal relationships and functioning. Dr. Mays focuses on providing a safe and supportive environment and works to help clients identify and reach their own goals with respect for their unique circumstances, cultural background, and beliefs. She believes that choosing therapy is an act of hope and courage that reflects an individual’s innate capacity to grow.

Dr. Rachel Thompson is a licensed psychologist in the state of Maryland. She earned her doctorate degree (PhD) at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. Dr. Thompson has extensive experience working with veterans and military service members and specializes in the treatment of PTSD and other trauma-related disorders in adults and older adolescents. Additional areas of clinical focus include individual and group treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, emotion dysregulation, relationship difficulties, and addictive behavior in adults and older adolescents. Dr. Thompson also conducts comprehensive evaluations of psychological and emotional functioning. She primarily utilizes cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based approaches to help clients move toward valued goals in treatment.

Dr. Michelle L. Friedman

Dr. Michelle Friedman is a licensed psychologist in Maryland, The Common Wealth of Virginia and New York State. She earned her doctorate in Counseling Psychology at The University at Albany, The State University of New York. Her clinical work with adults, adolescents and children focuses on struggles with anxiety and depression. She uses play therapy to reveal underlying struggles in children. She has extensive experience working with young adults who are navigating the career development process. Dr. Friedman also assists seniors in transition and those with developmental disabilities, including Asperger’s and Autism. She is skilled in working with people with chronic illness and the care givers who support them. Dr. Friedman’s research explores ethnic identity and its impact on functioning and development. She is comfortable working in multi-cultural settings. She is listed in the National Register of Health Service Psychologists.

Dr. Shauna A. Pollard is a licensed psychologist in the state of Maryland. She currently provides individual therapy and conducts psychological evaluations for adults. Dr. Pollard earned her Ph.D. in Human Services Psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, with emphases in both Clinical and Community Psychology. She completed postdoctoral training at the Memphis VA Medical Center in Memphis, TN, where she received specialized training in interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness based techniques in her work with veterans. Prior to being in private practice, Dr. Pollard worked as a psychologist at the Savannah VA Primary Care Clinic in Savannah, GA and with the Towson University Counseling Center.

Dr. Pollard employs a strengths based approach in therapy, and assists individuals with taking an active role in managing their physical and mental health. She has worked in multiple settings and with diverse populations. Areas of specialty include academic achievement, adjustment to college/university settings, depression, health behavioral change, recovery from trauma, social reintegration after military retirement/discharge, and coping with chronic illnesses.

Dr. Sabrina J. Krum is a licensed psychologist in the state of Maryland, New York and New Hampshire. She currently provides individual counseling for children, adolescents and adults and also conducts bariatric assessments. Dr. Krum earned her Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She completed an APPIC accredited pre-doctoral internship at Chrysalis Health in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and completed her post-doctoral training at The Counseling Center of New Hampshire. She has a great deal of experience and interest in assessing and treating children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Krum specializes in the treatment of mood disorders, such as depression and anxiety, parenting issues, childhood behavioral problems, such as Attention-Deficit Disorder, Conduct Disorder, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and conducting bariatric assessments and counseling.

Dr. Krum typically draws from different orientations in the conceptualization and treatment of her clients; specifically, behavioral, cognitive-behavioral, and interpersonal.  Through these approaches, Dr. Krum is able to create an individualized treatment plan that tends to be present-centered, problem-oriented, and what is best for the client.

Dr. Neville Galloway-Williams is a licensed psychologist in Maryland.   She earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.   She completed an internship as well as a post-doctoral fellowship specializing in PTSD at the VA Maryland Health Care System.  Other areas of specialized clinical interest include insomnia, substance use disorder, anxiety and phobias, chronic pain, panic, depression, and life adjustment issues.  Dr. Galloway-Williams conducts psychodiagnostic, ADHD, bariatric, and learning disability evaluations with a variety of age groups.  She does individual, couples, and group therapy, using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as mindfulness and other cognitive and behavioral approaches to assist her clients to engage in lives that are consistent with their values.

Dr. James Rutledge is a licensed clinical psychologist in the states of Maryland and Virginia. He earned his Psy.D. in clinical psychology at Argosy University in Arlington, Virginia. Given his special interest in working with special needs children and their families, while still in graduate school, he completed a fellowship in the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND) program at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He completed his doctoral internship at the San Antonio Military Medical Center in Texas as a commissioned officer in the Army. He then worked for several years as a licensed psychologist at Fort Meade before resigning from active duty. He enjoys working with individuals of all ages, couples, and families. He has extensive experience working with individuals challenged by anxiety, PTSD, depression, ADHD, ODD, Personality Disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Dr. Rutledge has also gained certification as a Prolonged Exposure Therapist which is an evidenced based manualized treatment designed to help individuals suffering from the effects of traumatic experiences.
Dr. Rutledge also performs group therapy and conducts psychological and psycho-educational assessments. Since no one size fits all, Dr. Rutledge uses an integrative approach with elements from cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and family systems orientations to help clients and families harness their strengths and improve their functioning.

Dr. Ariella Lipkin is a licensed psychologist in Maryland providing therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Dr. Lateffa King is a Licensed Psychologist in Maryland. Dr. King earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PhD) from Howard University in Washington, D.C. She completed her internship at The University of Southern California University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (USC UCEDD) at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Dr. Julie Murphy is a licensed psychologist in Maryland, providing therapy to individuals, couples, and groups. Jessica Diez - Baltimore Psychologists

Prior to working in private practice, Ms. Land served as the Lead Clinician at the Correctional Mental Health Center located at Patuxent Institution. Ms. Miriam Godfrey is a licensed clinical social worker in Maryland. She earned a master’s degree in social work at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, and is continuing her training in adult psychoanalysis at the Contemporary Freudian Society in Washington, DC. Ms. Maureen Betz is a clinical social worker, licensed in Maryland and Washington DC. After earning her Bachelor’s degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, she completed her Masters in Social Work at the Catholic University of America, with a dual-concentration in clinical and macro social work. She also earned a Certificate in International Social Development, and spent time working with children and impoverished urban communities in the Philippines. Maureen completed internship studies in a community based setting treating individuals dually-diagnosed with HIV and co-occurring mental health issues. Maureen’s other professional experience includes leadership roles in community-based mental health and non-profit settings in Washington DC. She has particular expertise working with individuals surviving trauma, recovering from addictions, mood disorders and psychotic disorders. Maureen is an ally to the LGBTQIA community, and has specialized training in Critical Incident Stress Management, trauma informed care, and person-centered approaches to treatment. As a therapist, Maureen sees her role as facilitating clients’ ability to identify and define problematic experiences for themselves, collaborate in the creation of a mutually agreed upon, goal-oriented plan of treatment, and to foster existing strengths and resiliency in order to empower clients to achieve success in the future.

Merrilee Peske, LCMFT,  is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist in Maryland.
